High gas and car prices drive banned Chinese EVs into U.S. consumer focus

Even as gas prices tick down, it has never been this expensive to own and drive a car in the United States. But tariffs and bans on Chinese technology are keeping some more affordable, electric vehicles out of reach from American drivers. NBC News' Allie Canal reports.
