Victory Bible Church Leads Massive Blood Donation Drive in Accra

As part of its 41st anniversary celebrations, Victory Bible Church International has organised a large-scale blood donation exercise aimed at supporting Ghana's blood banks and addressing recurring shortages in hospitals.

The exercise brought together hundreds of church members from across the Greater Accra Region, demonstrating the growing role of faith-based organisations in contributing to national development and public health support systems.

Head of the Medical Team of the church, Rev. Dr. Ernest Anim-Opare, who is also a Family Medicine Physician at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, described the initiative as a timely response to a critical national need. He emphasized the importance of regular blood donation in saving lives, especially during emergencies.

Health officials continue to encourage individuals and institutions to support blood donation campaigns to help stabilize supply levels in hospitals across the country.
