Sentuo Refinery Takes Delivery of 1 Million Barrels of Jubilee Crude Oil

The Sentuo Oil Refinery has described the processing of locally produced Jubilee crude oil as a major step in strengthening Ghana's refining capacity and advancing industrial growth.

The refinery on Monday, June 8, 2026, received approximately one million barrels of crude oil from the Jubilee Field, aimed at deepening local value addition and improving fuel security.

Speaking on behalf of the Chairman, Executive General Manager of Sentuo Oil Refinery, Eric Lin, commended government support for the initiative, describing it as a strong example of public-private collaboration in transforming Ghana's energy sector.

He noted that the development will significantly boost local refining capacity and contribute to the country's broader industrialisation agenda.
