A former resident has welcomed the demolition of the over 50-year-old 5-storey building near XYZ Broadcasting in Osu, describing the structure as unsafe and deteriorating over time.

According to the resident, the building had gradually weakened over the years, raising concerns about its structural integrity and the risk of a possible collapse.

He noted that the demolition was a necessary step to prevent a potential disaster and improve safety in the area.
