Transport Minister Clarifies: New Metro Mass Buses Won’t Solve Accra Transport Crisis

The Transport Minister has clarified that the 100 newly commissioned Metro Mass Transit buses are not intended to immediately address Accra's public transport challenges.
Speaking on the Citi Breakfast Show, Joseph Bukari Nikpe explained that the 29-seater buses have been deployed to various regions across the country to replace older Metro Mass buses currently in operation.
He further noted that 10 high-capacity buses have been retrieved, are undergoing refurbishment, and are expected to be deployed for intra-city services in the coming week.
