Zelenskyy meets UK and European leaders in London seeking stronger war support

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in London on Sunday for talks with Prime Minister Keir Starmer and the leaders of France and Germany, in a show of European unity amid the ongoing war. Zelenskyy is seeking greater military and economic support, including tighter sanctions on Russia, as US attention shifts towards Iran. Recent Russian strikes in Zaporizhzhia and Sumy have claimed lives, while a Ukrainian drone attack struck near a nuclear material storage site close to Chernobyl. Zelenskyy's open letter calling for direct talks with Putin was dismissed by the Russian president.
