Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has arrived at the scene of the collapsed building at Avenor in North Kaneshie, near Melcom Plus and opposite the Ashfoam showroom in Accra.

Her visit forms part of efforts by government to assess the extent of damage and coordinate emergency response following the incident.

Authorities are expected to provide further updates on investigations into the cause of the collapse and ongoing rescue or recovery efforts.

The Vice President is also expected to engage emergency officials and affected persons at the site.
