BREAKING: Ghanaians Escaping Xenophobic Attacks Arrive from South Africa 🇬🇭✈️

Ghanaian returnees from South Africa have arrived safely at the Accra International Airport following evacuation arrangements triggered by xenophobic attacks and anti-migrant protests in parts of South Africa.

On arrival, one evacuee and others were assisted down the aircraft steps as officials and emergency teams supported disembarkation and initial processing.

The evacuation exercise is being coordinated by Ghana's diplomatic mission in South Africa and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with support from NADMO and other emergency response agencies.

Authorities are expected to provide medical attention, relief items, and reintegration support for all returnees as part of ongoing government assistance.
