Ghanaian Evacuees Arrive in Accra 🇬🇭✈️ | Emotional Scenes at Airport as Returnees Wave Flags

Emotional scenes were witnessed at the Accra International Airport as Ghanaian evacuees from South Africa arrived safely following coordinated evacuation efforts triggered by xenophobic attacks and anti-migrant protests.

The returnees were seen waving Ghana flags excitedly as they disembarked from the aircraft and were later ushered into waiting buses for onward processing and support.

Government officials and emergency response teams were on hand to receive the evacuees, with arrangements in place for medical checks, relief items, and reintegration assistance.

The evacuation exercise is being coordinated by Ghana's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ghana's diplomatic mission in South Africa, NADMO, and other state agencies.
