Ghanaian Evacuee Gives Thanks For Safe Return from South Africa 🇬🇭✈️

One of the Ghanaian evacuees returning from South Africa has expressed deep gratitude to God and Ghanaian authorities for ensuring their safe return home following recent xenophobic tensions.

Speaking after arrival at the Accra International Airport, he thanked President John Dramani Mahama and Ghana's High Commissioner to South Africa, Benjamin Quashie, for their efforts in coordinating the evacuation exercise.

The evacuees were repatriated as part of a government-led operation in response to xenophobic attacks and anti-migrant protests in South Africa affecting African nationals, including Ghanaians.

Authorities continue to provide medical care, relief items, and reintegration support for returnees upon arrival.
