Ghanaian Evacuees from South Africa Arrive in Accra 🇬🇭✈️ | Some Receive Medical Attention on Arrival

Ghanaian evacuees returning from South Africa have arrived at the Accra International Airport following coordinated evacuation efforts triggered by xenophobic attacks and anti-migrant unrest in parts of South Africa.

Upon arrival, some of the evacuees were seen receiving immediate medical attention as officials and emergency teams assessed their condition and provided initial support.

The evacuation exercise is being coordinated by Ghana's diplomatic mission in South Africa and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with support from NADMO and other state agencies.

Authorities say further assistance, including relief items and reintegration support, will be provided to help returnees settle safely in Ghana.
