🇬🇭 NADMO Dep Director Inspects Relief Items for Evacuees Arriving from South Africa

Deputy Director-General of NADMO, Albert Akuka Alalzuuga, has inspected relief items prepared for the second batch of Ghanaian evacuees arriving from South Africa later tonight at the Accra International Airport.

The evacuees are returning home following renewed xenophobic attacks and anti-migrant protests in South Africa targeting African nationals.

During his visit, Mr. Alalzuuga encouraged NADMO officials at the airport to ensure a warm and dignified reception for the repatriated citizens, as government prepares to provide immediate relief and reintegration support.

The evacuation exercise continues under the coordination of Ghana's diplomatic mission in South Africa and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
