NADMO teams up with Mental Health Authority to support Ghanaian evacuees from South Africa 🇬🇭🧠

Deputy Director-General of NADMO, Albert Akuka Alalzuuga, has revealed that the organisation is working with the Mental Health Authority and other relevant agencies to provide psychosocial support for Ghanaian evacuees returning from South Africa.

Speaking to Channel One News, he explained that the intervention is aimed at helping returnees cope with trauma experienced during the xenophobic attacks and ensuring smooth reintegration into society.

The evacuation exercise follows rising xenophobic tensions and anti-migrant protests in South Africa that have affected several African nationals, including Ghanaians.

Authorities say additional support services will be provided as part of broader efforts to protect and rehabilitate affected citizens.
