Ghana prepares relief packages for evacuees from South Africa 🇬🇭🧳 | NADMO explains support plan

Deputy Director-General of NADMO, Albert Akuka Alalzuuga, has revealed that relief packages have been prepared for Ghanaian evacuees arriving from South Africa tonight following xenophobic attacks and anti-migrant unrest.

Speaking to Channel One News, he explained that each evacuee will receive essential relief items including rice and blankets. He also noted that the Health Ministry is providing financial support to assist with their immediate needs upon arrival.

The intervention forms part of coordinated government efforts to support and reintegrate citizens affected by the crisis in South Africa.

Officials say the evacuation exercise continues as Ghana works to ensure the safety and welfare of its nationals abroad.
