Tamale Assembly Invests GH¢1.4m to Improve Basic School Furniture

The Tamale Metropolitan Assembly is investing GH¢1.4 million, representing 10 percent of the 2025 District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF), to procure furniture for basic schools in the metropolis.
According to the Assembly, the initiative is aimed at improving teaching and learning conditions in public basic schools.
The intervention is expected to address furniture shortages and create a more conducive learning environment for pupils across the metropolis.
Officials say the investment forms part of efforts to strengthen education infrastructure and support academic performance in the region.
