Three days after floodwaters swept through parts of the Greater Accra Region, some residents are still struggling to recover from the destruction left behind.

At Oyarifa, floodwaters remain trapped in several homes, while fresh rains that began on Saturday morning have heightened fears of further devastation.

Residents say the situation continues to disrupt daily life and are calling for urgent intervention to improve drainage systems and prevent recurring flooding in the area.

Authorities are being urged to step up response efforts as the region braces for more rainfall.
