🚨 Second set of Ghanaian evacuees arrives tonight | Relief items prepared
Relief items have been prepared ahead of the arrival of the second batch of Ghanaian evacuees from South Africa, expected to land at the Accra International Airport later tonight.
The evacuees are returning home following renewed xenophobic attacks and anti-migrant protests targeting African nationals in parts of South Africa.
Government authorities are expected to provide immediate support, including relief items and reintegration assistance, as part of efforts to help affected citizens resettle safely in Ghana.
The evacuation exercise continues under the coordination of Ghana's diplomatic mission in South Africa and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
