Residents of Church Village near the P.V. Obeng Roundabout in Tema Community 5 are counting their losses after a heavy downpour caused severe flooding in the area.

The floods destroyed homes and damaged personal belongings, leaving several households displaced and struggling to recover from the impact of the disaster.

Affected residents are appealing to the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) and other relevant authorities for urgent support and relief assistance.

The incident adds to growing concerns over flooding in parts of the Greater Accra Region during periods of heavy rainfall.
