UN sounds climate alarm amid World Environment Day
World Environment Day is taking place on Friday, June 5, and the United Nations is sounding an increasingly urgent alarm: the climate crisis is no longer a future threat; it's happening now.
World Environment Day started more than 50 years ago and has grown into the world's largest environmental awareness campaign, involving governments, businesses, and communities in more than 150 countries.
