The Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, has announced that Ghana exceeded its 2025 national reforestation target with more than 31 million trees planted under the Tree for Life Initiative.

According to the Minister, the achievement marks a significant milestone in Ghana's efforts to restore degraded lands, increase forest cover, and combat climate change.

He noted that the initiative reflects strong collaboration between government agencies, local communities, and environmental stakeholders.

The Tree for Life Initiative continues to play a key role in Ghana's long-term environmental sustainability and climate resilience agenda.
