The Komfo Anokye Doctors' Association is calling on government to operationalise the Sewua and Afari hospitals to help reduce the growing pressure on the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH).
The appeal follows a query issued to the hospital's Chief Executive Officer over the temporary suspension of admissions at the Accident and Emergency Centre. Speaking to Channel One News, Association Chairman Dr. Michael Leat defended the decision, arguing that management acted appropriately in response to the challenges facing the facility.
