The Bulwark's Sam Stein discusses the past of Bill Pulte, President Donald Trump's pick for acting Director of National Intelligence. Three years ago, Pulte, currently head of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, was involved in meme stock culture, or attempting to drive up a struggling company's stock prices using social media. On Morning Joe, Stein calls the way Pulte promoted meme stocks "clownish behavior."
