GBA Elections: Ellis Quaye Praises “Thorough” Vetting Process

Ghana Boxing Association (GBA) Second Vice President aspirant Ellis Quaye has praised the vetting process ahead of the association's upcoming elections, describing it as thorough and highly demanding.

The elections, originally scheduled for June 4, have been postponed, with a new date yet to be confirmed.

Despite the delay, Quaye believes the extensive vetting exercise will help strengthen the credibility and future administration of Ghana boxing.

Speaking to Channel 1 Sports, he noted that candidates were subjected to detailed questioning on their backgrounds, experience, and contributions to the sport, adding that the process promotes transparency and fairness.
