The Municipal Chief Executive for La Nkwantanang-Madina, Ibrahim Fiala Fuseini, has indicated that the owner of the one-storey building that collapsed at Adenta will be arrested.
According to him, the developer had previously been cautioned against continuing construction due to concerns that the building's pillars were not structurally suitable to support a one-storey structure.
Authorities say the warning was ignored, leading to the eventual collapse of the building, and investigations are underway to determine full accountability.
