The Accra High Court has ordered the Bono Regional Chairman of the NPP, Kwame Baffoe, to be remanded into police custody after he allegedly failed to comply with a court directive to surrender his passport in an ongoing criminal case.
Abronye DC was absent when the ruling was delivered.
Last month, the High Court had granted bail to the NPP Bono Regional Chairman after he was previously remanded following his arraignment on a charge of false publication.
The substantive case is expected to continue before the Circuit Court as proceedings progress.
