The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Linda Ocloo, has warned that the region will no longer be a sanctuary for indiscipline following recent flooding incidents across the capital.

In a press release issued on June 4, the Minister expressed concern over the tragic flooding events recorded in Accra on June 3, which caused significant loss of life and property.

She announced a series of measures aimed at strengthening compliance with physical planning regulations, improving public safety, and enhancing urban governance to prevent future disasters.

The Minister called on residents, local authorities, and stakeholders to support efforts to build a safer, cleaner, and more resilient Greater Accra region, while extending condolences to families who lost loved ones and sympathies to those affected.
