The General Secretary of the NDC, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, has cautioned political leaders against pursuing leadership positions out of personal ambition.

Speaking at the 47th Anniversary Commemoration of the June 4 Uprising, Fifi Kwetey warned that desperation for power can lead to poor governance and ultimately undermine national development.

He urged aspiring leaders, particularly within the NDC, to place service to the nation above personal political interests, stressing that genuine leadership should emerge from a desire to serve rather than a quest for power.

According to him, the values of sacrifice, integrity, and commitment to the public good remain essential for effective leadership and national progress.
