The Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) has provided temporary relief to residents affected by a recent fire incident in Accra.

The support package, which includes some financial assistance, is aimed at helping victims begin the process of restoring their livelihoods after the devastating incident.

Speaking to affected residents, the Mayor of Accra, Michael Kpakpo Allotey assured them of continued government support, noting that a detailed report will be submitted to the Regional and Local Government Ministers for further assistance and long-term relief measures.

Authorities say the intervention forms part of efforts to provide immediate recovery support while broader assessments are carried out.
