WATCH: Last night's heavy rainfall left the Old Barrier–Ataala–SCC Junction stretch and surrounding communities, including Korkojor (Block Factory area), severely flooded.
The downpour resulted in waterlogging across roads and residential areas, disrupting movement and affecting residents in the area.
Motorists and pedestrians were forced to navigate through floodwaters as drainage systems struggled to cope with the intensity of the rainfall.
Residents are once again calling for urgent drainage improvements and long-term flood control measures to prevent recurring incidents.
