Accra Flood Disaster: Roads Submerged as Heavy Rains Leave Commuters Stranded
Heavy rains last night have left commuters and motorists stranded across parts of Accra after floodwaters submerged major roads and caused severe traffic congestion.
Affected areas include Ashaiman Underbridge, Abokobi, Ashongman, Nanakrom, and the Weija–Kasoa Highway, where some roads became completely impassable. The flooding disrupted movement across the capital and significantly slowed traffic flow.
