Heavy rainfall in Takoradi has disrupted academic activities at the Opportunities Industrialization Technical Institute (OITI), with floodwaters inundating classrooms and the school compound.
Students and teachers were left stranded at the main gate, unable to access classrooms due to rising water levels. Affected individuals are calling on authorities to either relocate the school or reconstruct it on higher ground to prevent recurring flooding in the future.
