Ablekuma North PM Speaks on Cause of Recurrent Flooding at Darkuman Junction | Channel One News

The Presiding Member for Ablekuma North, Ishmael Quao, says persistent flooding at Darkuman Junction is partly caused by indiscriminate dumping of refuse into drains, despite repeated desilting exercises.
He also noted that one of the affected drains falls under the jurisdiction of the Okaikwei South Municipal Assembly. According to him, discussions and engagements are underway between the relevant authorities to find a lasting solution to the recurring flooding challenge in the area.
