Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has called on the international community to rally support for the United Nations Charter, amid geopolitical and economic uncertainties. Wang made the remarks while presiding over a top UN Security Council meeting on strengthening the UN-centered international system. The participants agreed that the UN Charter remains as relevant as ever, and the world multi-polarization is inevitable. Wang also underscored China's key role in upholding multilateralism as a steadfast defender of the UN and fair global governance.
