Iran attacks Kuwait airport, US strikes Iran

Iran said it targeted US bases in Kuwait and Bahrain, as well as a vessel near the Strait of Hormuz. This came after the US military fired a Hellfire missile to disable a Botswana-flagged oil tanker heading toward an Iranian port on Kharg Island. One of the Iranian strikes killed an Indian national at Kuwait's airport and injured more than 60 others, according to Kuwait's Foreign Ministry. The casualties were among the highest in an Iranian strike in the region since the war began.
