After days of disruption and displacement caused by the Weija Dam spillage, life is gradually returning to normal in Tetegu, a community in Accra affected by the flooding.

Receding floodwaters have allowed residents to begin cleaning their homes, reopening businesses, and gradually resuming daily activities.

Many families who were temporarily displaced are now returning to assess damage and rebuild their livelihoods after the floodwaters caused widespread disruption in the area.

Authorities and residents continue recovery efforts as attention turns to improving drainage systems and reducing the impact of future flooding events.
