Business intelligence and strategy firm Konfidants has warned that rising utility costs, geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, and renewed pressure on the Ghana cedi could pose risks to Ghana's ongoing economic recovery.

According to Managing Partner of Konfidants, Michael Kottoh, although Ghana's macroeconomic indicators have improved significantly since the 2022 economic crisis, businesses remain vulnerable to both domestic and external shocks.

He made the remarks during the on-air series of the 2026 Citi Business Festival with Bernard Avle, where key economic and business trends affecting Ghana were discussed.

He emphasized that sustaining the recovery will require careful management of inflationary pressures, currency stability, and external economic risks.
