Breaking: Ghana Boxing Authority Elections Postponed Over Vetting Process

The Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) elections have been postponed as vetting exercises and administrative preparations continue ahead of the Authority's Elective Extraordinary Congress.

The elections were initially scheduled for June 4 but have been delayed following ongoing candidate vetting at the Accra Sports Stadium.

According to the Ghana Boxing Interim Management Committee (GBIMC), aspirants contesting Executive Board Member positions have undergone vetting, while others who were previously asked to provide additional information were also given the opportunity to respond to outstanding queries.

Chairman of the Vetting Committee, Samir Captan, assured stakeholders that the process will remain transparent and fair as preparations continue toward a credible electoral process.
