Ghana's High Commission in South Africa has released the official list of the second batch of evacuees scheduled to return home on Sunday, June 7, 2026, as part of an ongoing voluntary evacuation exercise for Ghanaian nationals.
Approved evacuees are required to report to the High Commission on the evening of Saturday, June 6, for verification, briefing, and pre-departure arrangements. The mission has also urged individuals who no longer intend to travel to inform authorities by June 4 to allow others to be accommodated.
Each traveller will be allowed two checked bags, each not exceeding 23 kilograms.
