Communications Minister Samuel Nartey George has rejected claims by the Minority that the Human Sexual Rights and Family Values Bill, 2025 has been weakened following recent amendments approved by Parliament.
Speaking on Channel One TV's The Big Issue, the Minister insisted that the legislation retains its core provisions, despite exemptions granted to certain professionals such as journalists and medical practitioners.
He maintained that government remains committed to ensuring the full enforcement of the law once passed.
