Explosion in Myanmar village near Chinese border kills at least 55

A deadly explosion has been reported in northeastern Myanmar. The blast occurred in a village ⁠in ⁠Shan State near the Chinese border. Rescuers say the blast has killed at least 55 people. The building where the incident took place is said to have stored mining explosives.
