Deputy Director-General of the National Service Authority (NSA), Fuseini Donkor, says the full extent of financial irregularities surrounding the 13th African Games will only become clear after officials cited in the Auditor-General's report respond to the allegations.

Former Sports Minister Mustapha Ussif and two others were named in the report over alleged irregularities linked to the hosting of the Games.

Speaking on Channel One TV's Breakfast Daily, he noted that many of the challenges faced during the tournament stemmed from the rush to complete infrastructure projects ahead of the competition.

The Auditor-General's findings continue to trigger national discussions on accountability and project execution in major sporting events.
