'An American Son': Immigrant Marine's ultimate sacrifice remembered

Author Tim Barnicle's latest piece for 'American Times' on Substack tells the story of Lance Cpl. Jose Gutiérrez, an immigrant who came to the U.S. and made the ultimate sacrifice. Gutiérrez enlisted in the Marines after the 9/11 attacks and became one of the first two American servicemen killed in action in the Iraq War.
