The family of a 6-year-old girl who drowned in a septic tank at Liberty Estate, Gbetsile, is calling on government to urgently address the community's persistent water crisis.
The incident occurred on May 24, 2026, when Abi reportedly went in search of water and fell into an uncovered septic tank before help could arrive. The grandmother, Vida Amoah, says the water shortage contributed to the tragedy.
