‘Mahama Could Become a Lame Duck’ - Kwesi Pratt Says Personal Ambitions Threaten 'Reset Agenda'

Veteran journalist Kwesi Pratt has criticised ongoing discussions around who should become the next flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), warning that such campaigns risk turning John Dramani Mahama into a “lame duck” president.

According to him, the current focus within sections of the party appears to be shifting away from the government's “Reset Agenda” toward personal political ambitions, which he describes as a dangerous signal.

Kwesi Pratt further argued that perceptions of inadequate funding for some ministries could weaken government performance and insisted that officials who have “taken their eyes off the ball” should be removed from office.
