Unemployed Environment Health Officers Protest: Picket Ministry Over Delayed Postings

Members of the Unposted Environmental Health Officers and Assistants Association are picketing at the Ministry of Justice and Attorney General's Department after police barricades blocked their march to the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs.

The protesters began their demonstration from Independence Square, demanding urgent government intervention over delays in postings and financial clearance.

According to the group, they completed training in 2021 but remain unemployed, describing the prolonged wait as frustrating and unjust.

They are calling on authorities to immediately address their concerns and provide clarity on postings into the public sector.
