‘Development Status Should Not Justify Asante Akyem North MP Detention’ - Prof. Gyampo

CEO of the Ghana Shippers' Authority, Ransford Gyampo, has weighed in on the arrest of the Asante Akyem North MP, stressing that a country's economic strength or development status should not be used to justify the detention of an individual without clear reasons.

According to him, issues of justice, due process, and human rights must remain paramount regardless of international perceptions or geopolitical considerations.
