The National Labour Commission (NLC) is scheduled to meet the management of the National Identification Authority (NIA) and representatives of its aggrieved workers in a bid to resolve an ongoing industrial dispute.

Members of the Public Services Workers' Union (PSWU) at the NIA have embarked on an indefinite strike over delays in the approval of migration reports, which they say is affecting their conditions of service.

Speaking to Channel One News, Head of the Corporate Affairs Directorate of the NIA, Williams Ampomah Emmanuel Darlas, confirmed that notices have been served to all relevant parties as efforts are underway to address the situation.
