Investigative journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni says the fate of former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta now rests with the court, immigration authorities, and the US government following his release from ICE detention.

He believes the former minister is unlikely to willingly submit to ongoing legal processes in Ghana, stressing that “he owes the state accountability.”

Meanwhile, Kwasi Kwarteng of the New Patriotic Party has urged Ofori-Atta to avail himself to help bring closure to ongoing speculation and accountability concerns.
