Ghana Rejoins International WASSCE from 2026 – Education Ministry Confirms

The Ministry of Education Ghana has announced that Ghana will return to participating in the international version of WASSCE starting from 2026.

According to Deputy Minister Dr. Clement Apaak, the decision follows directives from the President and Vice President and will align Ghana with other member states under the West African Examinations Council.

The Ministry also reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with WAEC to maintain the credibility and integrity of the examination process.
