Board Chairman of PSC Tema Shipyard, Dr. George Sipa Yankey, has pledged to transform the facility into a world-class maritime hub capable of competing with leading shipyards across Africa and beyond.

The newly inaugurated board says plans are underway to replace obsolete machinery and upgrade critical equipment to make the yard fully operational and globally competitive.

The move forms part of broader efforts to modernise Ghana's maritime infrastructure and position the shipyard among the continent's top-performing facilities.
